SIR RANULPH FIENNES -  OBE, Bt, FRGS
"World's Greatest Living Explorer" - Guinness Book of Records.

Since 1969 Sir Ranulph has been at the forefront of major exploratory expeditions around the world. In a career spanning over thirty years, he has circumnavigated the globe and broken numerous expedition records, his most outstanding achievement to date came in 1993, when he and Doctor Mike Stroud completed a 97 day crossing of the Antarctic landmass, setting world records for the longest unsupported polar journey and the first unsupported crossing of the continent.

Sir Ranulph's expeditions have raised in excess of £5 million (£4 million) for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, funding the the building of Europe's first MS' research center in Cambridge. In 1993 he was awarded with an OBE for 'human endeavor and charitable services'. 

A best-selling author, his books include the autobiography Living Dangerously , The Feather Men , Atlantis of The Sands , Mind Over Matter , Fit For Life, To The Ends of The Earth (written with his wife Virginia) and Beyond The Limits.

We are honored that Sir Ranulph has lent his very valuable and high profile name to this benevolent cause.
