Once billed as "Sussex' answer to Indiana Jones", Simon has become recognized as an authority on Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid. His critically acclaimed book co-authored with Richard Adamson "Riding The Outlaw Trail" has been enjoyed by many for the subject and respect shown for America's most successful bandit riders. He has written for Travel Trade Gazette, Essentially America, The Journal and Tally Sheet and doubles as an occasional sales & personal development trainer.

A Fellow of The Royal Geographical Society, Simon gives lectures on his adventures. He is a rider with a proven track record of conceiving, organizing and accomplishing adventurous expeditions. One of two Britons to ride the historic Outlaw Trail from Mexico-Canada unsupported, he has ridden deep in Utah's Canyonlands, cowboyed on historic cattle ranges in Brown's Park, Colorado and Hole-in-the-Wall country of Wyoming and tracked Butch & Sundance's Wild Bunch across the Western States of America. Quite possibly nobody since the original bandits has explored the Wild West as extensively as he.
