IMPOSING OUTLAW TRAIL JOURNEY

A British expedition team is ready to embark on an epic authentic expedition to retrace the journey of Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid in South America. They will replicate the same movements taken by the infamous outlaw duo to reach the lonely windswept mountain village of San Vicente, Bolivia, (14, 370 feet) where Butch and Sundance met their demise at the hands of a three-man cavalry unit from the Abaroa Regiment and one Comisario (policeman) all from Uyuni.

Sea, Rail, Horse & Mule

Riders will demonstrate nerve and courage to brave challenges of high risk horseback travel in some of the remotest high country in South America. Using rail, horses, boat and finally mules the party will faithfully follow the tremendous circuitous route in the Bolivian Sierras that Butch and Sundance traversed until their demise in San Vicente on November 6 1908.

This is the first bona fide expedition retracing of Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid's imposing journey. There is no support party acting providing trucks, trailers and comforts. The British team of Casson and Adamson were first to authentically ride the Outlaw Trail south-north on horseback from Mexico to Canada in 1999.
