RICHARD ADAMSON - EXPEDITION LEADER

A former Marine Commando specializing in management of commando training, incorporating planning, programming, operational techniques and theater deployment. Highly skilled in the formulation of policy, procedures, evaluation and implementation of ops. Held positions as logistics director for politically sensitive Middle Eastern security programs and was executive advisor on r&d, training and leading security teams including demolitions and EOD into hazard areas. 

Managed a logistics company contracted to the United Nations in East Africa and Far East. R&D aid programs in disaster relief, later became ground logistics manager for an aviation company contracted to the European Community. Established a riding stables in Devon, England with British Horse Society approval teaching basic and advanced riding. The premises doubled as a leadership, adventure and survival training center.

1994: Richard acted as onsite logistics support director for Barbara Whittomes' five month trans-Russia equestrian expedition covering 2000 miles.1999: he was ground leader for the unsupported 'Outlaw Trail' trans-America expedition covering 2036 unsupported miles with packhorses.

SIMON CASSON - EXPEDITION ORGANIZER (HISTORIAN/PHOTOGRAPHER)

A rider with a proven track record of researching organizing, outfitting and accomplishing adventurous expeditions, is one of two Britons to ride the 'Outlaw Trail' from Mexico to Canada. This monumental ride took place between April and September 1999. He has ridden the Canyonlands of Utah  (1995) cowboyed on historic cattle ranges in Brown's Park, Colorado (1996) and Hole-in-the-Wall country of Wyoming (1997).

Maintains a partnership in Outlaw Trails, also works as a freelance trouble-shooter leading and motivating people to exceptional performances - is a travel writer and western lore historian. 

THOMAS KEMPSTER - TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATIONS

Currently technology director for CTT Group Ltd and packyourbags.com Ltd an internet based travel company. A respected e-commerce designer and web artist manager, Thomas will be filtering field reports onto the web and updating the progress of the expedition. He has traveled widely in Russia, Eastern Europe, India and Nepal.
