  • 3 long-sleeved shirts
  • 3 short-sleeved shirts
  • 7 pairs socks
  • Trainers or camp-shoes
  • Warm Jacket
  • Slicker/Duster/Poncho – your choice
  • Neckerchief/bandanna
  • Cowboy or wide-brimmed hat with stampede string (must)
  • Light cotton gloves (leather if you prefer)
  • Towel (bath)
  • Bio-degradable soap
  • Flannel or facecloth
  • Toothbrush, paste & picks
  • Sun-cream and chap-stick (plenty of)
  • Insect repellent
  • Moist towelettes or wet-wipes
  • Sunglasses (must)
  • Camera, film & batteries
  • Flashlight & or head-torch & batteries
  • Bumbag or possibles bag
  • Soft 2 quart canteen (optional)
  • 4 Seasons sleeping bag (3 minimum)
  • Bed roll
  • Cutlery canteen (knife, fork, spoon)
  • Leatherman knife or similar (optional)

Keeping weight to a minimum, bring along any other useful camp/trek items.
